Halibut House Fish & Chips

“ Stopped by Halibut House Fish & Chips and had an awesome experience! I ordered their famous halibut with poutine and coleslaw, and everything was spot on. The fish was crispy on the outside, tender inside, and paired perfectly with their tangy tartar sauce. honestly, one of the best I’ve had. The poutine was loaded and satisfying, and the coleslaw added a nice fresh crunch to the plate. Portions were huge, so definitely come hungry! I had a refreshing Fuze tea and some crisp, ice-cold water on the side, which hit the spot. Service was super fast, and the place was not busy at all, with lots of seating and cozy booths to choose from. Plus, plenty of parking made getting in and out super easy. If you're craving a solid, satisfying seafood meal with quick service and a relaxed atmosphere, this spot is definitely worth a visit! 10/10 would recommend :) ”

“ Came here for in person dining breakfast again for the first time since the pandemic, so about 21 months ago. The breakfast special is up to 4.95 but it’s reasonable since food prices and operational cost have all gone up for restaurants. New menu with some more breakfast selections. We tried the eggs Benedict breakfast along with the breakfast special. All were tasty, the eggs Benedict comes on a slightly spicy corn bread just so are aware. Service and quality is good. And they are following all the current health and safely protocols. ”

Service was friendly and fast. Even thought this is a fish and chips place, they also serve breakfast here. As well, they have some daily specials. ”

The take out timing wasn’t a long wait approximately 10 mins the fish was fresh and the fries taste nice and crispy the way I like. But I can’t complain this fish and chips restaurant is great I think I found myself a good fish&chip place in Markham... I recommend it to those who loves fish and chip ”

“ I've lived here for a long time but this was my first visit. We had the Western Omelet (which comes with your choice of toast and homemade fries) and the 4.95 special, which comes with 1 egg, your choice of toast, 2 sausages, and homemade fries. All in all, it was a sumptuous breakfast. The service was prompt and friendly, and considering it was a Sunday, the restaurant wasn't busy. Nice place if you are too busy and want to grab a quick breakfast. ”

Lots of food selection from all day breakfast to souvlaki dinner and of course, different types of fish and chips selections such as king cod, halibut, haddock, scallop and shrimp etc... The staff were super friendly like a mom and pop shop, reasonably priced with big portions and was good. We went back the next day and ordered the same food... ”
